It loooks like a disc on the end of a short wooden or steel handle. I believe the idea is to plunge this contraption into the water making a loud kerplunk, then drawing it toward you to make a swishing or gurgling sound. I have a 14 year old son that fishes a local "jackpot" catfish pond, and although he has done well at times, sometimes the fish just dont bite. Has anyone used one of these in a pond, or river, and if so, did it work?
