Fished at Lake Kedron today for with a couple of guys who enjoyed a good day of fishing with a variety of baits over the grass. We caught fish on senkos, spinnerbaits, worms, crankbaits, topwaters, and different frogs. Although all these baits produced a couple of fish each the best producers were the frogs. We threw both the hollow body type as well as the solid soft plastic type and both got some good blow-ups from fish anywhere from one pound to five pounds. The Zoom Horny Toad got the most hook-ups and we only landed one fish on the frog in the photo. Even though it was one of the smaller fish we caught, Bryan wanted his photo taken with this fish since he was finally able to wait to set the hook on this one.LOL. This fish also sealed his victory in a little competion we had going in the boat for the most fish caught. The lead changed back and forth all day and both anglers lost some big fish near the boat and in the grass. At the end of the day I believe we probably boated around twenty of thirty fish we hooked up with in the grass and probably had ten more bites that never hooked up.
