i still love fishin i the rain. fished martin today,in tournament out of bay pines marina ( apolologies for forgetting the name of the tournament,its new). guys did a great job hosting the tournament.i dont believe i have ever been treated nicer by a tournament host. i believe i finished about sixth place(first loser lol). but i still had one of my best days ever on martin.i had 11.04 all largemouth. i caught maybe 10 -12 fish, broke off on one , lost 3 or 4 , missed 2 or 3 clean. i caught to on a top water plug and the rest on pig and jig. most bite came on boat bocks but my biggest fish came on a tree on edge of crek channel.i stayed in elkahatchee all day. i just couldnt leave it. i fished by self , slow and precise . fish bit hard , fought hard.ill be back nov 21 for next tournament. three out of four qualifies me or anyone for the championship . looks like fun for the winter. see at mithchell tomarrow.
