Hey guys got up early for another beautiful day on the lake. Fishing seems to be the same for me the last couple weeks. I had 4 hits in roughly 3 hours of fishing. All were on the mini buzz baits over grass. I broke off on one and landed one (1.5 lb) and missed the other two. This all took place in the last 30 mins. on the lake. I started the day fishing a jig'n pig around boat docks for the first two hours. NOTHING! I then put on a worm, then spinnerbait, then a crankbait. NOTHING! I fished these on the edges of the grass bed. Finally, I put back on my buzz bait and got some hits. I think I'm going to look for some rock formations in deeper waters. I've fished the Seibol area in the past in a boat with excellent success in the winter time around rocks. I think the water temp. is dropping daily and the fish are moving to deeper waters. Not sure, but that is my assumption. Any suggestions on where I should try that would be easily accessible in a kayak? Anybody fish the dam area around Honeycomb? Not been there yet.
