Last few days have been slow for numbers but the quality bites have been there. Wed, Thur, and Fri clients and I fished shallow grass flippin, throwing a jerkbait, and throwing a frog. The bites weren't fast and furious but each day we had chances at bigger fish. Wed was the best day with my client having a 5 and a 6. Saturday dad and I fished the Slam Team out of Goosepond. Didn't get many bites but we had 21 lbs coming in 2nd with 24 lbs winning. We had some bigger fish on just couldn't get them out the mat. The quality bites should last all winter.
