I tried fishing the south(east) side of the dam this morning for about two hours along the rocks. I threw TX rig worm and pig/jig, but no hits. Got a couple strikes on a Rattle Trap and landed a 5 lb drum. (Better than nothing!) First time to that area so just doing some sight seeing and looking for action. I watched the TVA guys checking some nets this morning by the dam. Only saw one fish netted in the area closest to the dam. Not sure what that means. I'm done posting until I catch some fish and pics! Thanks again for your help. Yak Attack

Don't try below the dam in that Kayak. You will end up in Decatur. I was there last week in the Skeeter and 24V High wouldn't hold the boat in that current. Did you try the Donkey Rig, yet?
