Had some trips earlier this week with a few guys from Alabama. The fishing seems to be off with the dirty water and fronts pushing through.

Monday we had had overcast and windy conditions. We caught some solid keepers Monday on spinnerbaits and traps. Tuesday was calm sunny and still. We caught better fish Tuesday on traps, spinnerbaits, and flippin' grass mats.

With the grass dying off, look for the best bite to be open water trap and spinnerbait fishing the next few weeks.
