The cooler weather is really helping the fishing on Kentucky Lake. There are schools of fish beginning to show up in winter time areas around deeper schools of bait. Number are really good but the big ones are not everywhere. You can catch fish anywhere from 1 to 25 feet. Some of the best action is still around the deeper grass beds but I have found some "every cast schools" on some of the shallower ledges. The water is coming up right now but I do not expect it to stay high very long. If any of you want a break from the deer stands, late fall and winter some of the best fishing on Kentucky Lake. The picture is from late last week of my good friend and great War Eagle Boat dealer, John Garret from Union City Marine. We had a great day with 15 plus keepers.
