I am retired and can go almost anytime. I come from Marietta and always looking for someone to help me find a few fish.

Of course my battery died last trip but two can paddle better than one. I did switch over to the trolling motor battery and think I repaired the problem.

I have been there once. Good people, but no different than most the tackle stores. The prices are not that great. I live on the other side of the lake. The closest place to me is Hammond’s. When I went teusday they had trout and big shad and both were the cheapest around. I bass fish and striper fish, so I like a good selection. I like small businesses to that is why I try to support them all. Both are great stores. Before telling others about prices and selection you need to do your homework. Hammond’s may have a great selection of both, but they also have way more striper tackle than most of the stores put together. I fish many bass tournament and there name is always noted for giving something away. Plus they actually pay to keep this board going. Talk about customer service. They have my business Oakwood is not worth the drive.

Timberghost has the best customer service on the lake for my money and only keeps high quality stuff in the shop. Now this is only an opinion and not meant to stir up trouble, but if you have not checked out the store give it a try one day. Mickey, Brian, and all the guys up there will help you out. They also have a great bow shop and when talking guns with Mickey in the gun shop he is way over my head on knowledge. As for their live bait, I know they keep the tanks clean, but it has been a while since I have fished live bait. Check with "Catching-Not-Fishing" to know the quality of the bait. STEVE COX CIS, Inc.

I don't hunt much, but from what I saw Timberghost had alot of hunting. Not much fishing though. In fact when I asked them questions they were short with me and gave more attention to a guy buying a bow.
