I went out Tuesday just to run my boat. With the recent rains it was a bit safer and I only had one run in with a stump in the Lanana boat lane. Luckily I was idling in that area. I made a run over to the Texas side just south of Patroon. It was very foggy that morning so I didn't make it over there until about 8:30 and I only fished until about 10:30. I was fishing a Chatterbait over shallow submerged hydrilla. The water was very clear compared to what I expected. I could see a good 3-4 feet down. I ended up catching 5 nice bass. One nearing the 3lb mark all on the Chatterbait. They seemed to be relating to wood as well as the hydrilla. I fished all in and around lily pads and had no action. From there I rode around and marked some areas with GPS. I'll be ready for some hot spring action if the lake comes up.
