Subject: Massabesic, New Hampshire

Submitted by Rocky (ip 199.192.11.8)

Date Fished: 4/29/2009
Water Temperature: 62.
Water Clarity: 0

Spent Monday out at Massabesic. Did very well, all 19 bass were very shallow, almost on the banks. Funny thing was 14 of the fish were smallies and they wern't small. My buddy caught the lunker of the day , a 3.10oz smallie. Anyhow we first tried deep water but no luck, then tried shallow water, anything that looked a bit different. Slammed them on spider jigs and 'baby senkos'. Fun day, the bass are far from deep now. Saw many guys fishing 30+ ft. water, I wish I were in a tournament. As we left water temps were creeping up towards 65, surface temp obviously but things are heating up. Good Luck Boys and Girls.
