Subject: Quail Creek, Utah

Submitted by G. Baker (ip 205.188.192.49)

Date Fished: 3/27/1999
Got on the water around 9 a.m. Was blown off by 10:30 Caught a beautiful moma-to-be. Released her immediately. Although I have spotted some buck bass in the shallows, they are very spooky and not interested in soft plastic?. Caught the big lady in about 18 feet of water off a prominent lake point. 7" worms in subtle colors seem's to be the ticket for these staging female's. Got blown off the water before I could exploit my developing pattern (need a bigger boat). Warming water will definately help the bite.
