I could use some help. I currently have a 2000 TR21 and due to moving to new house I have to downsize to fit in new garage. What are some opinions on some good rough water boats under 20 ft. Preferably with 200 hp capability.

Thanks for everybodys opinion and help.

I'd just make that tr21 fit some how... from Dolomite  10/18/2006 2:17:00 PM
if you caddy corner the boat with the motor in one corner of the garage and the hitch in the opposite cross corner it might fit.. thats what I do!

tr21 out in the cold from Mack (52.128.30.27)  10/18/2006 2:47:00 PM
Just put a goood quality cover on it and park beside house. I had to make that decision when I sold my 18 ft ranger and bought my tr21 x but the ride in choppy water is a world of difference.

   Under 20 ! from Robert (71.98.21.21)  10/18/2006 4:53:00 PM
Got to be a Bass Cat Pantera one of the best riding boats I have ever owned or driven IMHO! 19 Ft Champ would be right there too!

Keep the TR21 from Big Erk  10/18/2006 5:33:00 PM
Knock down a wall and make it fit man! Don't dump the Tr21 just cause it won't fit in the garage. My carport wasn't big enough so I added an extra 8ft and walled it in to turn it into a garage. Now your situation might not be so easy but there is a way. You just have to find it. Before I expanded I just let the front of the boat stick out the front of the carport and put a cover on it.

Rough water Try a new Stratos from Dee rod (24.196.196.83)  10/18/2006 8:48:00 PM
Go test drive a Stratos 294 or 200. I have a 295 (04), I have rode in alot of boats and this one ranks up there with the top. Not to mention it's one of the cheapest on the market. Oh and it has the same warranty as the rest of the Genmar boats. Good Luck.

Bass Cat Pantera 4 from Phil (24.162.58.170)  10/18/2006 9:07:00 PM
Best riding boat under 20' is no doubt a Bass Cat Pantera 4. If in the market for another boat, don't pass up an opportunity to ride in one of these! I can guarantee you won't be disappointed in not only the ride, but everything else associated with it. Good luck with your decision.

Bass Cat P IV from Chris Moore (71.97.97.177)  10/18/2006 9:25:00 PM
I have owned several 19' boats in the past, but my current ride is a Bass Cat P IV. By far the best rough water ride under 20'. I always say that the boat fishes like a 19' boat but rides like a 20' boat.

Awesome ride... Check one out...

   Bass Cat Pantera P4 or Classic from socb_hawghunter (24.10.22.23)  10/19/2006 12:14:00 AM
I have the Pantera Classic and this boat handles big water surprisingly well, very dry and fishes great. I really enjoy my boat and if I had to do it all over again I would get another Pantera for 19'

best ride from jjtriton (4.136.174.193)  10/19/2006 11:44:00 AM
I would try to hitch a ride in a 20x, it's hard to beat in rough water, it will ride as good as your tr,if and will give you the correct length for your garage, good luck

Charger ,Skeeter from BoS (63.97.56.188)  10/19/2006 11:49:00 AM
 I ran Chargers for years......Excellent ride,speed ok,storage great,quality good. I run a 20' Skeeter now.........ride is better than you think,speed is good,storage good,quality good.

Go Jacks might help you keep your existing boat from Whiteboat (216.77.154.39)  10/19/2006 11:49:00 AM
These little dollies will allow you to easily move a tandem axle trailer by hand so that you can store it in a tight space.

Also do you have a swing away or removable trailer tounge on your existing boat?

A combination of the two may allow you to keep your existing boat stored inside a smaller garage

   Pantera from kc5 (141.129.1.98)  10/27/2006 2:07:00 PM
My Pantera Classic does very well, but The P3 and P4 are even smoother.
