Does anyone have any experience with the Minn Kota All Terrain 24 volt 65 lb thrust trolling motor. BPS is advertising it for $399.88. Way cheaper than going with a Maxxum. The mount looks different, maybe not quite as strong? Anyway just curious my 17 year old OMC aint what it used to be. Thanks in advance for any info.

I have this trolling motor on a 2001 Javelin 18 Venom and it works just fine. The mount is a solid mount instead of a break away. I have put it through a years worth of abuse and so far it is still working. It has enough power to make a pretty good wake behind my boat when it is on high. I think it is worth the $399 for it.

Jeff, Parts are still availale for your trolling motor. What do you need? What do you want for your unit? Give me a call @ 865-607-3064. Everyday I haear people talk about that they wish that the old omc trolling motor was back on the market and that they hate the new unit they purchased.

It's a good trolling motor.. from Toonafish  4/12/2007 10:42:00 AM
I put a new MKAT65 on my old 18foot Ranger I had and it worked great and used very little draw from my batteries. For the money, they're hard to beat !

They are good no frill motors, I have been using them for years with no problems. That is a good price
