    Trailer Apron
from squib #10455

I'll post this in the trailer section as well, but I think it fits here too. I am worried about getting road rock chips on the hull of my new boat. I used to see the cloth-type aprons that were slung across the nose of boat trailers between the boat and the trailer. I haven't seen one in a while. Are these things still around and do they help?

try Mobile home dealers. They sell to fit rear of towing vehicles from humminbird #11206  6/10/2008 4:20:57 PM
 Yes, they work.

I would think an RV dealer would be the place to go. Today's mobile home dealers are pretty much out of the towing business.

RV is what I had in mind...just old fashion, I guess. Thanks from humminbird #11206  6/11/2008 12:10:37 PM

   Sounds like squib wants a bra . . . from CS175 #13967  6/11/2008 6:12:00 PM
BOAT bra that is!! Bass Pro used to carry them online, but for some reason discontinued them. Try a google search to see if one pops up. Sorry not to be more help.

Here is the real deal. from TroyJ/Angling Alabama   6/12/2008 12:11:40 AM
Go to www.versaflaps.com - You can put this on or take it off in seconds, and it works.

do you drive on gravel roads a lot? from Beartrap  6/13/2008 6:09:39 AM
if so,there might be some justification for putting some sort of mud flaps on your vehicle....it is after all the bottom of a boat and a couple of rock chips are whole lot less ugly than them damn mud flaps.....
