Ranger Boat Service -went the extra mile

Rated:

My 2005 Ranger Z21 center rod box lid was starting to show some stress cracks and get a little (spring-ee). They could have likely written it off to my jumping for joy every-time I actually caught a fish (all 285 lb's of me). But I reported the issue to them and guess what? New Hatch lid was promptly shipped out- no charge- no shipping costs. Some might argue they already new this was a design issue, but I'm going with the benefit of the doubt and giving them Kudo's for being a Stand Up organization.
Thanks Ranger!!!

 I am a proud owner of a brand new 2012 Z518 Comanche.

My previous Ranger was awesome. I am sure this one will be the same.

I've always heard those remarks about the service from Ranger HQ but never recieved that the same service! Three year old Ranger, seat threads both seats were starting to come apart. Give me your serial and visa # and we will be glad to send knew skins. At the five year mark my front center deck lid, as your's I believe, developed cracks. Had to give visa to get to lid which by the way cracked shorly after, I way 220 and no I didn't go Ike!

   I think... from Hellathump #12313 #12313  6/17/2012 12:29:43 AM
I think that this post is stemming from another board and the ranger thread about how terrible it is to have to have foam filled lids that do indeed stress and crack. And the company doesnt just "send" lids, you pay for them, when all they have to do is follow skeeter, trition, basscat, phoenix and pthers and make the lids out of aluminum or some sort of composite. I am on my 3rd Ranger z520 and my lids did fail. This one will be my last
