Split Shot from Jay Guertin (66.31.202.9)  2/26/2002 7:31:00 PM
I like to use a 4" lizard when I split shot. I will also use a 4" jelly worm. Thats about all I use, and I split shot alot.

I agree with the above and would like to add from Triton180DC  2/26/2002 7:46:00 PM
A french fry to the list. Smallies like craws too, so a small 3" yamamoto craw would be the ticket also black(chart pinchers)

Is the best for me also the 4' lizard is good.

I like that yamamoto grub from Justin  2/26/2002 10:29:00 PM
I have found out that a gary yamamoto 4 inch single tail grub works good for a split shot application. I mainly use it for smallmouth and not for sure if it would be as effective for largemouth but an all around good bait for the split shot purpose.

I really, really like the 4" Zoom lizard, but from early tests with 3"/3.5" Craws, they're going to be better IF the lake is rocky and grass not too dense. Also haven't tried the smaller Senkos yet, but will soon. Anything that twists the line sucks! What doesn't twist the line lets you fish more and better, IMHO. C&R, Steve

I been doing a lot of split shot fishing along with drop shotting lately. I been going with a small senko in watermelon or smoke, 4 inch watermelon worms, 6 inch zoom worms in baby bass because they work, and 3-inch craws. Last year french fries were good and for some reason this year they won't touch them.

 Depending on the forage ...

Baby Brush Hawg or Roboworm (In your favorite color) For smallies ...

Hands Down, Kalin's 4" Green Crawdad Grub

4" Zoom Finesse Green Pumpkin....Is there any other color in Michigan besides watermelon and green pumpkin in June !!!
