 Hi, guys
Need some info- have been told of using an assembly of PVC pipe for crappie shelters. Has anyone out there tried this?
If so, have you had any success with it? I would like to know if there are any web-site with plans, etc.
Would appreciate any help in this matter. Thanx
Full limits to all--- Griff

Black rubber belting material, from a conveyor belt, lag bolted on a 4x4 and attached to a block or weight of your choice.

4' section of 4x4

Rubber belting is best cause when it's sunk the leafs stand out not up.

cut sections of rubber lag bolt them on the post on each side so you have a rubber leaf tree.

When you sink it, sink it with the bolted end of the leafs toward the surface. When in the water the leafs stand out and not up.

We made several different kinds, some were big leafs of rubber and some had lots of strips of rubber like 3" wide and 12"-14" long.

Wish I could remember more.......

Randy
