I would like to know which best colors for deep diving crankbaits for post-spawn/summer/fall at the highland reserviors that you like to fish. I fish primarly in MO such as Table Rock, Stockton, Pomme de Terre, and sometimes at Truman and/or Lake of the Ozarks if the water is between semi-stained to clear.

I like a blue shad and a sunfish color, both in a deep diving crank. I got a few custom paint Hot Lips from Amistad Tackle that I have had good luck with. They pull, but they get down deep where the big ones live! The Poes 4500 Long Reach is a good one also in the same colors.

A citrus shad color in the Fat Free Shad.

For many years the best color on deep clear lakes like Smith in AL for me has been baby bass. In a DD22 it's GDLN-149. The sexy shad color probably would do as well.

If there is some stain to the water, the blue back chartreuse side color has been an old faithful.
