    Zoom and Colors
from Skipper

Does anyone else other than me find it irritating when Zoom keeps discontinuing colors or making the color in another style but not the one you just ran out of and would like to restock?

I'm looking for Cherry Seed Mag II's. I'm not out yet, but I'd buy some tomato too.

I guess everyone is about alike. I've probably got 300 lbs of plastics that I've used 1 or 2 of but for some reason don't fish regular. Someone else would probably have more use for them.

Have you tried contacting Zoom? Some outfits will make you what you want, IF you order enough. Maybe you and some buddy's can team up. Otherwise, there are many different brands, and the smaller companies might be more willing, what with the economy being what it is. I'm sure that a lot of their new colors are the results of requests. One club I know got one of the crankbait companies to make a batch of an old color for them.

Another thought is to use one of the dyes to modify the color to be close enough to what you want. I used to have some "Ranger" dyes, but don't know that they're still available. C&R, Steve
