   BR200 Done Jumped Ship from BR400  6/26/2012 12:55:49 PM
From the Bass Cat to Mike Allen's huge Sterling. 3 Air Force jets tried to land on his huge front deck Monday morning on Lake Lanier.

Brad and I went down to fish Sunday evening and Monday on Lanier with Mike and some of his VA. buds. We caught a few fish, had some good food, and yes, told some fishing lies.

We stopped at a the Port Royale Tiki Hut for lunch and Mike said I had to take a picture with him and Brad and post it for Rob.

Sad part of the trip is the local divers are still searching for the 13 year old boy who was killed last week in a terrible boat accident.

That would make a good caption photo from JohnM  6/26/2012 1:15:46 PM
Mike isn't even fishing. You have to wonder what he is pondering? If I didn't know Mike was such a great dude I'd tell BR to watch out LOL.

Sounds like good times were had by all.

How about this big dark Lanier largemouth?

So is Sterling an upscale Gambler or something? Have seen many Gamblers around but never Sterling.

Had the pleasure of fishing with the late, great Unca Gooty out of his Gambler on Amistad once and you're right, the front decks are massive. Boat would flat out scoot too!

 Re-designed Gambler.

Mike's bud Mad Bass had a 21' Gambler there too. It was awesome too. Got to love those hydraulic trim tabs.

Nice boat, and fish from DaveT  6/26/2012 6:34:48 PM
Thanks for posting BR400. Gambler used to have an Intimidator model named for Dale Earnhardt Sr. Those Sterling-Gamblers sure are pretty boats.
