BASS just sent me the 2005 daily planner and I dont want it.
What has to be done with this? Should I write return to sender to it and send it back?
Why do they send unsolicited things like this?

Keep it , it's free.... from Curado Kev  10/25/2004 10:41:00 PM
We go thru this every year...

I have not paid for mine many times...

Why? from BassTaurus  10/26/2004 9:03:00 AM
Because "marketing geniuses" have not caught on to the fact that they are abusing the members by giving them a guilt trip if they do not send the junk back. Most people keep the junk, since they legally do not have to exert effort to undo something that they did not ask for to begin with. Unfortunately, some people, due to their honest nature, are taken advantage of since they still send them the money or go through the trouble of sending the junk back. I started to keep everything that is sent to me unsolicited. If they want to finagle money out of me by way of a guilt trip- they can stuff it.

   I enjoy my BASS planner. from Draggin'BaitZ (  10/26/2004 11:05:00 AM
I always look forward to receiving my BASS Daily Planner & Fishing Guide. It provides me with a convenient system for logging all my fishing related info throughout the year.

I save all my old ones as historical references to help me remember what I did in the past to help me in the future.

The planner has great tips, calendars, trip logs and a handy place to keep all the current phone #'s I may need.

The planner is the only thing I keep. I've sent all other unsolicited mailings back un-opened and they seem to have gotten the idea. The planner is the only thing they've sent my way for a couple years now, so I have no problem with it.

If you receive something you don't want, it costs you nothing to sent it back unopened. Why is that such a burden?

I believe the planner is worth $20 once a year and I appreciate not having to remember when to order it. If you don't, send it back. It's pretty simple.

Good luck, DBZ
