Rods and Reels

    Little weights.

I use mostly old Shimano baitcast reels that I buy from ebay. The non magnetic ones have the removable weights on pins on the spool. Where can I buy some of the heavy ones. I've been drilling out the plastic straws that come with WD40 cans but they're too light.

Call Shimano Customer Service... from Funky  4/25/2012 9:59:04 PM
at 877-577-0600. I do have a few, but the shipping would be more that the collars. Shimano most likely will not charge you for shipping on something like that.

Shimano has great customer service. I ordered about $35 worth of parts three weeks ago, but only ordered 2 of the 3 handle nuts I wanted. So, yesterday I called them and they said they would send me the 3rd handle nut I needed at NO CHARGE! Good folks and good products...an unbeatable combination.

Jeff Hahn

BTW, the BNT 2221 brass handle nut is a perfect replacement for the aluminum handle nut that comes on the E series reels.

we send alot of folks directly to shimano simply because we do have to charge shipping and alot of times shimano will ship free. Anytime we can help our customers save a few coins, we do it. There is a warranty center that does not bat an eye at their shipping fees- to dealers or anybody else. Shimano has always provided great customer service and we've been with them for probably 2o years I guess.
