I have a Fenwick Fenglas flipping stick that I purchased new in the early 80's. Does anyone know what it might be worth? It is 7.5' in length and retracks down to 6' length. I started out flipping with it on Truman Lake in the early 80's and then upgraded to a graphite flipping stick a few years later. I saw in an earlier post that the Fenwick Fenglass may of been the original flipping stick and might be something worth owning. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

What is the model number from Bender, MS Gulf Coast  7/18/2012 8:38:37 PM
Can you read that information and what is the condition?

I don't see a model # on the rod. Perhaps it has worn off.

It's in good condition. I had to replace one of the rod guides several years ago. The wrapping doesn't quite match the others. I haven't used the rod for probably 25 years.

I have a Fenglas flipper and a Fenglas spinning rod. I got them mostly because of naustalgic reasons. I began rod building in 1974 and that was one of the the best blanks that we could get. Mine are manufactured rods and I wanted them just for the history. Are you looking to sell this rod? Depending on condition, I'd guess you'd be looking at $50-75. does it still have the rod bag and tube? if so, that could make it more valuable. Others may have other thoughts, which is fine as I'm no expert on purchasing older rods. Hope that helps.
