depends on the length from Fisherboy #10852 #10852  7/19/2012 11:31:04 AM
If it's a 7-footer, it's most likely a No. 25; under 7 feet could be a No. 20 or No. 18. Measure it using milimeters and you'll have the correct answer.

Edited because I was thinking last guide not second to last ... sorry.

You could call Kistler and let them know what you have and I'm sure that they could assist you in some manner. The other alternative would be to find a local rod builder to simply replace the guide with the correct size. hope that helps.

By the time you buy the guide, thread, finish and brushes to redo your guide you'll have more $ in it than a local rod guy would charge. If you've never done it before it probably won't look as good also.

Free if you drop it off and pick it up at my house. That will give you an excuse to spend t e weekend on the Potomac.

New Jersery, Georgia it don't matter. These Yahoos travel all over the place to fish, I'm just providing an excuse.

Doesn't Wacko live in Georgia somewhere? He can wrap and finish a guide.

Yes Wacko does. from JerseyBasser  7/24/2012 4:26:33 PM
I forgot about that. He only lives around an hour from me I think, never been up there but know he is around Smyrna somewhere.
