SUBJECT: # 13357: COOPER COBRA tires

would like to hear from anyone who has put on these tires on a boat trailer(basscat owners original equipment) how have they held up? any problems? especailly interested on those that have mounted them on their ranger trailers, or triton trialers 14 inch tires, not interested in performance of other brands(carlisle, maxxis etc)

IMHO they are built better than a cheap trailer tire and you don't have all the problems with blowouts,cupping or uneven wear...

I too do not believe you have to settle for Marathons. I know what the experts say but I also know what personal experience has proven over the years.When I had a Basscat, they were putting Firestone Firehawk Indy's on their trailers. Now they are using Cooper Cobra's. Whichever tire is more convenient, including the Falkens that Im using, go for it. Just have them balanced and maintain proper pressures.
