SUBJECT: # 13468: Replacement keys for Fulton locks

Submitted by alp from LOUISIANA on 8/10/2010 9:05:00 PM

What a racket (from what I see anyhow)...tried to get replacement or spare keys made for my trailer hitch locks made by Fulton....I went to 4 different lock smiths in town and they all had the same story...they cannot get the blanks from Fulton any more....anyone have any suggestions for getting spares made ????

Have the locksmith order additional keys from Fulton using the number on your key/s.

Locksmiths cannot get the blanks from Fulton, they no longer sell them to locksmiths....that's the problem... al

Already cut keys to match the number on your keys. Do your keys have a number stamped on them? All the Fulton keys I have are numbered.

But again, I have gone to every locksmith in Lafayette and they all say the same thing, they cannot get keys from Fulton...the numbers are C 30 and AG 15....anyone in your area sell the extra keys, I would be thrilled to find at least 2 of each... thanks again, al

be most happy to sell you some keys. Get out the checkbook. You may have to supplly them with a copy of your trailer registration to protect them from just anybody getting keys to someone elses trailer. I think you got a basscat. Did you try basscat???

The boat that is.....I have emailed Fulton twice and have not heard from them yet...I sent out emails to dealers that handle Fulton locks and got one reply...$13 for one key, $8 for the key and another $5 for shipping...the AG 15 must be a tough one to find, 2 replies say they don't have any in stock...I doubt if I will ever buy a Fulton again, hopefully other brands have some way to provide customers with spare key availability... al

  7. 8/13/2010 5:16:00 PM Submitted by Alex from GA #10518 from GA says Why don't you.... a Master lock trailer lock and throw the Fulton in the trash.

Send me pictures of both keys showing both sides of the cylinder grooves and I'll check some local locksmiths for blanks or spare keys already cut. I have three different versions of cylinder grooves for Fulton locks. Do both of your keys have the same cylinder grooves?
