SUBJECT: # 13474: What's happening with my trailer? PART 2

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions in the previous post. Turned out to be the loss of brake fluid, credit to 203
DCX for being spot on. There were no signs of leaks, can brake fluid evaporate?

As the pads wear, the calipher pistons move slightly and the fluid level in the tongue reservoir drops. That reservoir in the trailer tongue is much smaller than your tow vehicle's and gets low real easily, I'd check it a couple of times a season.
