SUBJECT: # 4021: 1157 bulbs vs 2057 bulbs...any comments?

Have been told that the 2057 tail light bulb is brighter than the old 1157. Anyone had any experience with these bulbs (2057)? Any cons? Thanks to all that post...Loomisman :)

that is the only difference,just being brighter........i now run them on my trailer all the time(and in my old muscle car too)............

Just replaced my 1157s with 2057s. Brighter bulbs and appear to be a little bigger, not by much. I found that the 1157 bulb had a tendancy to jiggle loose just enough to lose contact in my set of lights. The 2057 is just a little bigger and fits better.Try it, you'll like it.
