SUBJECT: # 5126: Air intake & Flowmaster for Dodge 4X4

Has anyone tried replacing the air intake and installing a flowmaster on a Dodge 1500 xtra cab with a 360. I would appreciate any feedback before I make the swap. This truck is a daily driver but I do use it for towing my boat and other trailers. Gas milage would be a plus but is performance enhanced? Thanks.

I have a Ram 1500 reg. cab with the 360. A few weeks back I installed a Flowmaster 70 series cat-back exhaust and a K&N 14" open element. I noticed a slight gain in performance and gas milage. Perhaps a couple ft. lbs. of torque and .5mpg improvement.john

I have a 96 4x4 with the 360. I've installed a 70 series bib block 2 flowmaster muffler, KN (fliter only), and a JET chip. The KN and the flowmaster have not made much difference, but the chip is noticable.
