Uncle Josh acquires Bass Stalker Jigs

by BFHP Fishing News

Uncle Josh acquires Bass Stalker Jigs

I am pleased to announce that, on October 4, 2005, Uncle Josh Bait Company of Fort Atkinson, WI acquired Bass Stalker Jigs of Shillington, PA.

Uncle Josh (www.UncleJosh.com), known for its pork rind products, also owns Sizmic Lures (www.SizmicLure.com) maker of a variety of soft plastic products. The purchase of Bass Stalker Jigs will fit right into the product mix at Uncle Josh, creating a single source for quality jigs, trailers (pork and soft plastic) and other soft plastics.

There are no changes planned to the existing Bass Stalker products. Bass Stalker will still be called Bass Stalker. We expect a smooth transition over to Uncle Josh as they have a well organized and capable staff. I will be readily available to help with any issues that arise as well. In addition, several of the employees at Uncle Josh have been using Bass Stalker Jigs for over three years so, they already know the products.

I owe a great deal of thanks to all the friends I’ve made here on the Bass Fishing Home Page over the 5+ years that I’ve been a sponsor. First and foremost, a huge thanks to Gerry! Without the Bass Fishing Home Page, Bass Stalker Jigs would not be what it is today. THANK YOU, GERRY! Thanks also, to those who have purchased and supported Bass Stalker Jigs. I know Uncle Josh will continue the tradition of good service and great quality that I have tried to maintain and that you will continue to support Bass Stalker Jigs, Uncle Josh and Sizmic Lures in the future.

I would also like to thank the Bass Stalker Pro Staff who have not only promoted our products here, but everywhere they go. Many have been directly responsible for a lot of the dealers we have established. Your dedication has paid off, as Uncle Josh will be keeping quite a few of you.

As for me, since Bass Stalker will remain a BFHP sponsor, you’re not getting rid of me yet! I have no plans to just sell the company and drop off the face of the earth. I will, however, be doing a little, no … ALOT more fishing! With the growth of Bass Stalker over the last three years, I’ve had very little time to fish. Look out basses! I’m baaaaaaaaack! I will also continue to promote Bass Stalker Jigs on the Bass Fishing Home Page, as well as, the other products Uncle Josh has to offer. In addition to promoting the products, I will be helping Uncle Josh develop new products under the Bass Stalker name. We already have a few ideas we’re looking into. Stay tuned!

Again, thanks to all those who helped make this possible! Should you have any questions, please feel free to email me at BasStalker@aol.com, call me at 610-775-2115 or contact Uncle Josh at Sales@BassStalker.com or call toll free at 1-866-BIG-BASS.

Sincerely,

Perry Haas
