Barrett Lake From: Corn (66.15.80.232), California
Doc, I fished on the 22nd. I got quite a few fish that looked like they were starving. I actually had one come out from under that little dock thing thats tied to the dam, and he starting eating pieces of my sandwich, right out of my hand. I felt sorry for him. Also, back in the sticks, where that old rusty cannon is, we got a lot of nice fish, but a lot of sickly looking ones too. Like the oscars you see at the pet stores that aren't getting enough to eat, with their bellies all shrunk-up. Lots of fish with bellies full of Senkos too, and then you can see them regurgitate them up when you go to unhook them. We ended up with about 60 fish total on my boat. I only got one on a Spook and one on blades, all the rest were drop-shotted zipper worms and T-rigged Senkos. 4:20 BASSER Barrett From: Doc of BH (67.118.92.50), California How weird! Last year I got tons of those horrible "bookmark" fish, these -except for one that wasn't even that bad- were awsome fish. I can't explain it. I tubed the main lake only, but my brother's fish in Hauser were good too, so he says..with just a couple of skinnies. Well, I'm there on 6/13...we'll see.
