I found the same on my trips to Mexico. I would take all these deep diving crap (which I hate to fish) and never pull them out of the box. Plastics have always been my best bait. I went through a dozen bags of lizards my last trip to El Salto. Not quite as many last year at Bacarrac. Andy W.

How many plastics is enough and how do we get it through the airlines without going over weight limits for luggage? El Salto wx From: Bass Coach (66.255.27.100), Tennessee I wouldn't think you'd go over on weight limit. I think your bags can weigh 50lbs. Next time I'll probably take a dozen to 18 packs of 25 worms in various colors. I used braided line on my spinning rods and 17 lb. mono on the baitcasters. Next time I'll probably put braid on the Carolina rig because the mono had too much stretch to set the hook when fishing 30ft. deep.
