How is Simpson Pond for bass? I fished there as a kid while the mill was still running and the carp were monsters. Is it a good spot for a float tube? It appears to be shallow, at least the last time I was there. You definitely need some kind of floating device to properly fish it, that's for sure. adair pond From: John Taylor (24.21.145.57), Oregon I've been bass fishing at adair pond twice and both times I caught a good sized bass on my first cast and then nothing else. I was the only one who caught anything both times though so I feel special. I caught one on a brown tube rigged texas style and the other on a rat-L-trap, both fished next some sunken logs. I like it because it's close to my house and gas is ridiculous right now, but it's real small. I'm starting to think there is only one bass in there.
