From: Won it before (204.124.92.254), Oregon After winning this tourney a couple of times and placing high every other time I can tell you the trophies were too big and gaudy. A simple plaque would have been fine. My partner and I fish this tourney because we like Siltcoos and will fish it even if all the money goes to charity and the trophy is only a handshake. I have talked to most of the people that fished it and NOT ONE person said they will not fish it again because there is no trophy for the winners. If you don't fish for the competition then why go when there is a tournement? I do agree that the trophies are ugly as sin and a plaque would be just fine. They spent money on two fishing poles for the top 10 teams and that would have bought plaques or certificates.
