spinner baits From: fishOn (72.73.78.100), Maine
I have not often used spinnerbaits and I have to ask, how much does the price have on quallity? and what do you recommend as good inexpensive ones? thanks Next Time Dave....... Ill tell u first of all i wont even pretend to be a pro at using spinnerbaits, as dave said this was my first time catching bass on them. But to be honest bro i was using a spinnerbait that cost me a dollar at Walmart. But i will also tell you that after about 25 nice sized fish on it, it broke on me, right in half. Smallies will do that to you. Ayways, the saying is true {u get what u pay for} but i stalked up on a lot or 2 and a 1/2 dolaar Strike King's at Walmart. and i have had luck on them the last couple of days at the riverand at a local pond near my house. Now on to dave...... Again i have to say thanks man, not only for one hell of a time out on the water but also for teaching me a new technique with a new lure. I had a great time and next time in competition mode you wont be so lucky. The only thing you forgot to mention in ur post was the pattern we came up with. Trees hangin over the shore {lol}. Good times man. That was some crazy fishing and i cant wait until the next trip. Oh by the way i wanted to let you know i went down to the river the last 2 days and the first time i did i got a 3.7 and a 3.1 as well as 4 or 5 other smallies over 2 on none other than....... you guessed it a spinnerbait. And ye3sterday i got 10 or 11 with one 3.4 and the rest between 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 on a spinnerbait. And i aslo got a 2 1/.2 lb l/m out opf sebasticook and clse to a 3lb l/m outof harlow. They make them to YOUR specks. and what you get at any store is what you get. Pay a couple of bucks more for the bait you want, not the bait you have to use and you will see the differance.
