The ramp still hasn't been fixed ,but it wasn't to bad to unload .(19 ft. boat tandem trailer). I was there last saturday they weren't generating and they weren't biting. It was the worse trip I've had there in several years. New dock for SWEPCO From: J-Doc (70.241.39.18), Arkansas Yes, the AG&F is supposed to build a new loading dock this summer. I haven't been back to SWEPCO since about Jan. this year. Last I was there, all you could catch were dinks and from what I saw, that will be the trend. There is just not enough forage for the bass in that lake. They waited too late to do anything about over-population. If there was more forage, it would be a trophy lake for sure in a year or two. Anyone having any luck on this lake this time of year? I heard it was a winter only lake? No generation, no bite From: J-Doc (70.241.39.18), Arkansas Yep, that's what I have heard. If the plant is not generating, the fish won't bite that much. I've had better luck with shaky head senkos when the plant is not generating. When the plant is generating, get as close to the plant as possible. |
