They are deep most of the time. Try fishing islolated cover on humps or flats with a crankbait, swimbait or a rig. The cover on the humps doesnt have to be much...Im talking about little rock outcroppings or a sudden drop of of one side to a river or creek channel. You can also catch some good fish up in the river...be carefull if you are not familier with that area. If you are not a big offshore guy. Keep a big blade and your flipping stuff handy and fish brush.
