Lake Baccarac and Lake Huites combo From: DonHunter (66.143.194.241), Oklahoma
Well Andy, We did the two lakes in a week a package. First we fish Lake Huites for 3 1/2 days at Lake Huites Lodge. We caught tons of fish but most where small. I did manage to catch one fish that weighed maybe 10.0 pounds. Everything was prefect at the Lodge, all first class lodging. It takes about 1/2 day to transfer from Lake Huites to Lake Baccarac. If we would have never gone to Lake Baccarac I would rated Lake Huites as excellent. But Lake Baccarac I found was in a total different class of fishing hole. The Lodge at Baccarac is the same as Huites but the fish at Baccarac are the real deal. I caught 60 pounds of bass the first 8 bass the first morning. We came in for lunch the first day and 16 of the 22 guys caught fish that weighed more than 10 pounds, most on topwater!!! The numbers of total fish caught for my boat was always over 125 for the day. Baccarac rates the best in my book!!! |
