Thank you... From: Bubba (71.59.26.100), Georgia
Doug -

Thanks for the info and your continued posts - they always prove very helpful. I was out this AM as well - threw the chug bug alot - lost one big one, and caught a couple of other decent ones, but nothing close to your day. Do you mind sharing if you were in a creek or mainlake, or at the south or north end? I was on the south end - mostly main lake - maybe just not the right place! I appreciate the help.

Bubba

mid lake From: DougFerguson, Georgia
Bubba I fished from browns bridge south to as far as Orr creek. I fished mostly main lake and stuck with long slow tapering points like Coleman mentioned in his post.

all the mainlake islands from B.Bridge south were good areas also.

Thanks Doug From: Bubba (71.59.26.100), Georgia
Thanks for the info - I guess I don't know the lake well enough to know where those type of points are quickly - I know them when I stumble across them, but don't have my "encyclopedia" of those type points yet in terms of location for Lanier - I will keep working at it. Thanks again for the help and congrats on a great day!

Bubba

Way to go From: Ron Scott (68.215.144.3), Georgia
That sounds like an awesome day. Glad your boat repair didn't get any worse than what you thought. I wish I was a better topwater fisherman than I am, I'm to jumpy and have a tendency to take it away from them too quick. I've been getting the hits, just react too quickly, but again glad you had a good day.. Ron
Great Day From: J d (67.140.206.21), Georgia
I know that had to be an exciting day. Nothing get your heart pounding faster than a big bass busting a top water bait. Hope I can get back out there this week while the top water action is going on. Appreciate the report. JD
Nice report From: T-Boy (24.99.243.197), Georgia
Got out near the mouth of Shoal Creek from 5 to 8pm.

Threw a spook all over the place for at least an hour and never got the first blowup. Did catch 5 on jighead worm with green water mellon seed trick worm. Have to learn to retye as I finally got a good fish on and it dove down and snapped my line. Most of my fish were caught in 15 feet of water around a reef marker.

Thanks for the reports and keep them coming.
