Nice 'uns From: A-Train, Alabama
In my past experiences on Smith, I found that I would catch better numbers and quality during the week. Some of it may have to do with boat traffic and pressure, but I feel that the generation schedule has something to do with it also. During the week, they are generating from 7:00am - 12:00pm. On Saturdays, they start pulling later in the day hence the slow down in bites. Just my thoughts, AD Well... From: Rex, Alabama Remember, private thoughts are the best ones. Mondays have ALWAYS been the best day of the week on Smith. Generation? I don't think so. With all the weekend boat traffic, it's the first day the fish have to feed without getting washed ashore. It's always been that way. Current is noticeable on Smith at deeper depths. Sure it probably makes some difference, but even the bait don't react much to Smith Lake's minimal current. Oh, and Brian, you company called and said your hours are changing. Work now starts at 5am. Smith Lake From: Dvb (68.17.111.139), Alabama Smith has not gen. but 10 hours in the last 2 months and none in the month of May, so you can rule that out.
