Sounds like you had a great day! I hope to see some good pics. That four pounder in the picture just seems a little .. well blah..you know. Six over seven pounds...wow. There are no bass in Virginia. Your post described several six or seven pounders. I have a shoe box full of pictures like the one you posted with. I have caught more double digits than I can count on one hand from Va. and N.C. From: MrDo (208.46.106.17), Texas My son took the picture on his cell phone. One of the best pictures of me ever. Why? Because I'm a hell of a lot wider than the pictures shows me to be. That fish measured 25" long. Do the math. Of course I'll tell you up front it wasn't double digit. Never stated that it was. The fish that were just over 7lbs. were hybrid stripers. Beleive it or not.......this fish was bigger. Registered scales said so. It was caught and weigh in a money tournament.
