what part of the lake were you fishing im coming down there in about 10 days. i usually launch from vandailia Stonewall Jackson From: javelin (198.70.8.194), West virginia Skin Creek Ramp, water was stained a couple hundred yards up from ramp but was good down towards the main lake. Stonewall Jackson From: Ron (166.123.208.241), West virginia I fished it the end of May, for 4 days. Caught mostly dinks, but did baot a couple of small mouth. One was about 1.5 to 2 lbs and the other (a real rod bender) weighed 5lb 1oz on my scale. First time I've caught any smallies there. What a surprise! Can't wait to go back again. Fished from the cottages up past the marina. Caught the big small mouth near the camping area. Most were caught on a 3 inch plastic jerk bait (sitck "o") chartreuse color. Used a tube around shoals but no luck. Hope you have a great trip. |
