Where is this place at I have never herd of it? Blue Grass FWA From: Mike (63.77.59.130), Indiana Just north of Evansville on the Vanderburgh/Warrick county line. It's 2500 acres of reclaimed strip mine land with the largest two lakes of about 300 acres each. The water is deep and gin-clear with lots of deep water structure and weed beds. The bite can be as tough as anywhere I've fished. Night Fishing From: Tim (76.1.18.93), Indiana Mike, I've been fishing the same type of pits just east of Terre Haute for over 25 years. This time of year is prime for night fishing in those clear water pits, if the regulations at Bluegrass allow it. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out what might be some serious trophy fishing. Top waters and pump & drop spinnerbaits in dark colors have all worked well for me over the years. |
