Hey Bob, I just got back from Maine. I wasn't there to fish but noticed that all of the rivers that I passed over were really swollen, from the south all the way to the Penobscot. From: RayBob (64.12.117.5), Texas bobtxbass@aol.com We'll talk Maine bass fishing! belgrade/down east From: spankymcmattson (24.177.50.51), Maine ok. i be the one to hook you up. live in mass but do lots of fishing in maine as well as a lot of research. not sure where "downeast" is, but if you in belgrade area near Oakland and Waterville then get a delorme atlas of maine and you will see hundreds of places to fish. i could name a few, cobboseecontee, androscoggin, messalonskee,maranacook...theres really too many to list. lots of small ponds as well and that particular map will show you boat ramps as well. in fact i have a bunch of different maps of fishing in maine and they are delorme. hope this helps as no own seems to respond to many posts. be nice for someone to answer that leeds question on androscoggin river. i might be interested in doing some river smallie fishing myself. belgrade region From: reddog (71.162.86.117), Massachusetts Every year during July 4th week, I go fishing in the Belgrade region. Among the hotspots I frequent, in order of favorites, (North Pond, East Pond, Great Moose Pond, Lake Wesserunsett, and also the Sebasticook River in Winslow by the fort Halifax Dam).
