Good report! I am going Sat to Oconee, can you give me some specifics as to the spinnerbait bite, was it on rip rap and how deep were the crankin fish, were they on points, etc? Oconee info... From: Haven (97.81.76.224), Georgia It had come a storm just before I got on the water so the sun wasn't out. I was working the SB on riprap. I had to reel it in so slow that the blades were barely turning and the bait was bumping the bottom. This was the only way they wanted it. I worked it all the way to the boat with several strikes coming on out in deeper water... try not to hurry the bait in. This is what led me to the CB bite. I found some water that has rock beneath the surface that starts at a depth of about 6'-8'. It stays this depth for about 10-12 yards then drops fast to 25'-35' deep. I'm cranking this water with a bait that dives 15-20 feet. The fish are slamming the bait just after the drop or either following it for a distance before grabbing it. I'm also catching some fish on CB while fishing it up very tight to docks fishing it parrallel to the sides and the fronts of the dock.
