Man, That's horrible. 6:30 is bad enough. I bought one of those yearly permits. What, is the guy complaining that he has to get up a little early? Lake Hours From: Thomalex Angler (64.53.15.26), North carolina I know for a fact that the owner of the bait shop had nothign to do with the hours being changed. The cities changed the times and had the gate locked at night because of a break-in and some anglers coming in at 5am. I have seen several boats on the lake doing well over the 30 mph speed limit which my cause a HP restriction to be place on the lake. The bait shop owner has nothing to do with it, most of the problems is coming from those who feel the rules dont apply to them. If you cant stand the set times then go to high Rock or Badin and fight the Jet Skis and boat traffic. Lake Thom-a-Lex is a nice peaceful lake to fish. As far as you boycotting the lake, thats ok just means more room for me to fish. As far as those wanting their money back for their permits they must be the ones that feel they are above the rules that we all have to follow. He has been publicly making it aware the he was pushing for set hours, just the same as some other lake/parks in the area. Looks like he's getting caught blowing his own horn with all his complaining and now is trying to put it off on someone else. |
