We had a club "paper" tournament on Sunday and allowed 12" and up just to make sure everyone at least had something. Naturaly you couldn't actually keep anything unlees it was over 20" which no one caught.I agree I would like to see this lake in a few years. Had 12 members fishing and winning weight was just over 5 LBS with 5 fish. The local bait shop has maps that show all the pre existing structure and there is a local camp ground that's on $15.00 per night. I'm going again in the morning and I'll report tomorrow. Thanks Cedar Creek From: Cajun (64.253.98.184), Kentucky The only gripe I have with Cedar is all the j@ck@sses who have no fishing courtesy. I have had boats come right up and cut me off on a bank Ive been fishing numerous times. That and it just takes a ton of fishing pressure, but I can always catch fish there. I may be old school about 'fishing courtesy' but there are some real jerks on Cedar, the worst Ive seen about anywhere. Morning trip From: shakeyhead (75.89.133.226), Kentucky Fished this morning from 5am til 11am. I boated 25 - 30 bass total and no doubt missed that many more. No big fish at all. Maybe 5 would have been 2lbs or better, the rest were all 12" and under. Still a lot of fun. I agree with the fishing pressure and the azz bags on the lake. The best part is when some jackazz in a $40,000 dollar boat pulls up and thinks he owns the lake. I fish out of an aluminum tracker and outfish him all day long. When they pull up to my boat after I release a hog over the water they just fished and ask "whatcha catchin em on?" I'll tell em I'm trolling jitterbugs and they seem to get upset. The bass don't know if its a $40,000 or a $400 boat!!! Good Fishing.. |
