Stayed at the gut fished long point, Savage island, city ledge,monty bay, carry bay,the passage,kelly bay and missiquo. All sort of water temps. I had my best luck with largies. Cuaght some nice fish in the gut,carry and the paasage. Could not find the smallies.Durind the weekend but did catch afew mondat at dusk on a spook but thats it. Fished from inches of water to 25 ft. This is the 3rd year and I always have to resort to large mouth. What is the trick to the small mouth on this lake. I used tubes,grubs,twin tails,spider grubs. I am aware postspawn is tough but you canussaully find shorts or something. Any info for this time of the year would be good.I can catch smallies in new hampshire under almost any conditions. |
