follow up From: dan2 (75.27.15.52), Indiana
I couldn't stand the fact that the ol' lady wanted me home for dinner however we all know thats in our best interest. Helped her cook, eat, and clean up, and headed back. Showed up about 40 minutes before dark and it appeared to me to be an opportune time to throw a spook. Water was calm, front is on the way in however didn't feel like it had hit yet. Fished until dark with no bites however as soon as night fell i caught 4 little ones say under 14". Have a problem at this particular pond with Beaver's. At night fall they obviously come alive and cruise however they seem to be rather moody. On several occasions i had one swim within 20 feet or so and do the traditional tail slam to show they weren't happy with my presence. Oh well, i gotta have fun too. Gettin ready to join my first club in which monthly tournaments are involved. its kind of nice, they do a blind draw before every tournament in which a boater is paired with a co-angler that doens't have a boat. No big prize money, but it will allow me to get the experience of tournament fishing before i move towards professional angling. Wish me luck HAHA |
